SalesBase sticks to its guns – Anca Industrial Adhesives Ltd
Supplying a broad range of adhesive and packaging consumable products, ANCA Industrial Supplies needed a comprehensive database solution that would help them keep pace with a dynamic growing customer base with diverse and demanding requirements.
Managing Director, Phil Dainty had spent an exhaustive search reviewing and evaluating customer database solutions. Having looked at over 10 products he was concluding that he would either have to compromise his business requirements to fit a packaged software product or alternatively pay a king's ransom to adapt a system to suit. Neither of these was ideal.
Thankfully he found an alternative – SalesBase
Having seen SalesBase in action, both by way of an on-site demonstration and visiting a live site using SalesBase, Phil was able to quickly conclude that a product did exist that not only met his business process needs but was also very affordable and could be installed within a short timescale.
In addition, ANCA had been using Sage Line 100 accounts software and Phil was pleased to see how SalesBase integrated with this. SalesBase was able to give sales and customer service people access to key order and financial information about customers without the need for them to have access to the accounts system.
Management reporting on customer performance is a critical factor for ANCA, as a client that performed well last year may not necessarily be doing as well in the current year. Again SalesBase was able to give this key information instantly, allowing appropriate action to be taken to rectify the situation.
With phase 2 bringing the field sales team on line with SalesBase, ANCA are well placed to continue to grow secure in the fact that with SalesBase their systems won’t let them down.
